A Clip Above's Grooming Curriculum
Here at A Clip Above growth with in our company is so important to us!
We have created a small grooming curriculum designed and offered to our dedicated employees that want to learn the trade of grooming. We teach all of the key fundamentals important to creating a safe, positive and quality experience for each pet in our care.
We believe that setting a solid foundation in learning about animal care and its entirety is one of the key factors in learning to groom. Learning anatomy, nutrition, skin/coat type/care and dog psychology are just as important as learning the practical side of grooming. Teaching a solid foundation to each and every one of our students sets them up for a lifetime of success in the art of Grooming!
We only teach employees that are currently employed in our experienced Bather position in our shop, that know our clients pets and have been dedicated to caring for them long term.

Qualifications:
Must have minimum 6 months experience in the professional bathing industry
(or have worked with us as a bather)
Must be willing to put quality time in an entry level position working in our Salon
Must be a compassionate animal lover!
