I have loved animals since before I could walk! I have been in the pet industry for over 20 years!
I am very knowledgeable in dog psychology and animal behavior. I have been grooming dogs for 17+ years and training for 20+ years. I believe in giving full respect to each and every animal I interact with. I believe all animals should be respected to the fullest and be taken care of to the best of our abilities! They love us unconditionally and deserve the exact same in return!
My goal in opening my own salon was not only to give animals the best love and care possible, but to give it to groomers as well. I have worked in cooperate settings as well as small private settings and in my personal experience I felt most, if not all, lacked in the type of supportive leadership that so many groomers crave and deserve. Creating a positive, supportive and encouraging work environment is extremely important to me and is something that I have vowed to make a priority in each step of the way in growing our incredible salon. I also place great emphasis in opportunity for growth with in my salon for each member of my staff. From receptionists that want to learn to bathe, to bathers wanting to learn to groom, to groomers wanting to learn to lead, to lead groomers wanting to learn to manage, to managers wanting to own their own salon, the sky is the limit and I take great pride in being there for them each and every step of the way!
Leadership, mentorship and inspiration is my passion! Growth is the most important part of life, inspiration is so important for the soul! We all need that extra touch of care to reach our goals and to dive even deeper into our careers and dreams! THIS has been my true joy in life, my salon, my staff, my family!
Our salon is absolutely esthetically beautiful! Chandeliers, white marble desk, Italian stone tile wall, exquisite stencils creating an accent wall, handmade mirrors with porcelain carvings, spa music and beautiful décor..... esthetics aside, they take a back seat, the TRUE beauty lies with in our team, our shop family!
My hobbies are training and competing with my dogs in a sport called Schutzhund. I also enjoy horseback riding, traveling, hiking and spending time with my family and friends, photography, and inspiring those around me!
